Houdini FX Artist

Dazzle Pictures is looking for expert Houdini FX artists with a gift for creating hyperrealistic explosions, romantic snowfall, terrifying ocean waves and generally keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. We're seeking people who really 'get' the VFX business, follow its evolution and have a burning desire to walk the cutting edge every day you come to work. THIS POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

Creating FX simulations of all kinds (liquid, fire, explosions, smoke, dust, rigid-body destruction, particle systems, cloth and hair simulations,...)
Exploring out of the box approaches to deliver photo-realistic VFX for commercials, series and feature films
Enjoying both artistic and technical aspects of the work
Close cooperation with Supervisors and other members of the Team to deliver in the required quality and time

THE KIND OF PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proficiency in Houdini FX
Very good knowledge of maths, physics and natural phenomena
Knowledge of other 3D software and/or Nuke is an asset
Ability to follow instructions from the Supervisor, proactive approach and strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
